NOTICE OF RACE

1. ORGANIZATION

1.1 The race is organized by Corsaire31 for ( and with help of ) the French-speaking Sailaway Community ( Sailaway Communauté Francophone)

1.2 The race will use the "Sailaway The Sailing Simulation" software by Orb Creation studios.

1.3 All communications will go through the community's Discord at :https://discord.gg/MQ7bcGB

1.4 The Discord #general room will be used for all talks in or out of the race.

1.7 No registration, we meet on starting line

2. RACE REGULATIONS

19 nm  around 4 hours

No validation of checkpoints, every skipper watches what's happening.

Rules of conduct at sea

Sailaway today doesn't handle collisions with boats, but handles now wind shadows.  You will be asked to avoid collisions with other boats and to follow the ISAF rules for navigation.

3. ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION

3.1 This race is opened to Mini Transat and Sailaway Cruiser 38 sailboats.

3.2 It is open to anyone owning Sailaway, registered on our forum and/or on our Discord channel.

4. SCHEDULE

Saturday July 22 :

Pre race briefing 19:30 UTC
Attention signal ( no more teleportation ) : 19:50 UTC
Start at  20:00 UTC  ( Signals 5 mns and 1 mn before start on the vocal general Discord channel )

** Individual recall for early start : the recalled boat (or boats) will have to turn around and go through the start line again.

5. RACE COURSE

The race is near Sitka ( Alaska )  Coordinates on the map hereunder

Starting line :  Between south of Taigud Island and the little island west  -  South of Peisar Island  -  South of Little Wrangell Island  - South of Terbila Island -  Around Biorka Island  - North of Little Biorka Island  -  Channel west of Kamennoi Island -  finish line same as starting line.

Wind forecast : South East 15 knots
